The complete guide
It's October! Translation: parks season is back in Dubai. Many Dubai tourists and new dwellers get surprised by how many parks and green spaces there are to explore across the city. Most are free or at a meager cost and are incredibly family-friendly - pets friendly in many cases. We couldn't possibly have started the winter (aka Dubai's best season) without collating the best parks to look forward to this year. So here is a run-through of all Dubai parks and outdoor spaces, entry fees, and additional facilities you can find for families.
AL BARARI PLAYGROUND
Dubai's spectacular new nature location has gone from a hidden gem to a local favorite. Famous for its adventure playground and comfortable setting. Kiddies can enjoy water play, climbing, giant swings to pirate ships, and even exploring the veggie patch, all in the lush environment of the luxury estate Al Barari. Parents treasure the Hideout lounge, where you can enjoy a drink while the kids play. Then, if you want to grab a bite, ice creams, burgers, and shawarma are on hand. Pre-booking for this luxury nature amusement park is necessary, particularly on weekends.

AL BARSHA PARK
Around a large man-made pond, this manicured 52-acre park is set beautifully. You can lease pedal or solar-powered boats on the water and pedal Go-Karts, bikes, and e-scooters for activity around the park. There are two park spaces, proper for toddlers and your older kids, and an abundance of grassy spots for picnicking and a running track.
