With Expo 2020 now completed and the site transformed into Expo City Dubai, this mega-development has moved well beyond its early vision stage. Dubai South is now an active urban district, supported by a functioning airport, expanding residential communities, and a stronger events and business ecosystem. Al Maktoum International Airport remains central to that growth, especially after Dubai approved its major expansion in April 2024. On the residential side, deliveries have also continued at pace, including The Pulse Beachfront in 2025, while more handovers are lined up in 2026. Rather than a future promise, Dubai South now reads as a long-term growth corridor with active infrastructure, real occupancy, and ongoing investment momentum.
